Howdy computertech,
How are you doing?
I hope this letter finds you in good health and spirits.
Today's guide is something that you will find very useful. At least I hope so.
Why?
I feel so because I know how hard it is to maintain a blog, or even start one with a regular 9-5 job. I was lucky to do it back in 2008, but it has become much more challenging in 2019.
One question I'm often asked is:
"Hey Harsh, what can I really do to be successful?"
Well, if you have the same question on your mind, here is my #1 tip:
Daily dedicated time for blogging!
Your initial motivation and willpower should become a habit. According to scientific research, it takes about 66 days to form a habit.
Once you are there, after that blogging will become natural for you (Just like it's for me) and then making money or living that free life will be many step closer.
Also, after spending one hour a day, You will be connected with your passion, or at the very least, you will develop a new passion.
So the next time your friends ask you to spend hours doing nothing, say 'no' and do something which makes you feel complete instead.
Here are a few recommendations (that I personally follow):
- Keep weekends for family and friends. Remember, it's not the quantity but the quality of life that matters. Tweet this
- Isn't it cool to keep browsing Facebook? Yeah! I understand. Do yourself a favour and delete the Facebook app from your phone. Deactivating is an option, but you don't need to run away from it. You just want to control your habits and improve your productivity. Also, delete that game which never ends and just helps you waste time. Rather, spend all of that extra time learning some new skills. You know it hardly takes 15-20 minutes to learn the next big blogging trick.
